Culturally Sensitive Psychotherapy and Counselling for Individuals, Couples and Families

Our multi-ethnic six-strong team of fully qualified counsellors and psychotherapists donate time to the Charity that has been in existence for more than 20 years.

Our aim is to provide a high quality service to support people with a wide range of mental health needs, who also experience social disadvantage as a result of discrimination and poverty, to strengthen their confidence and self esteem.

Equalities Statement

The Multicultural Counselling Centre recognises that in our society, groups and individuals have been and continue to be discriminated against.

The Multicultural Counselling Centre is committed to achieving equality of opportunity in all aspects of its work.

We therefore oppose discrimination on the grounds of age, race, colour, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, HIV status and all forms of discrimination, direct or indirect, which restrict or hinder the promotion of equal opportunities.

We also recognise the need for the Multicultural Counselling Centre to target its services to groups that have traditionally been discriminated against or excluded from access to services.

The Multicultural Counselling Centre is committed therefore to implementing this statement in the areas of our Management Structure, Service Delivery, Policy Development and Membership.
